I visited my family this summer. They live on a farm in Wisconsin, where the air is clear and you can see colors in the sky that just don’t seem possible in a city.  I always forget how many stars there are in the sky until I go back for a visit.  The sunsets are breath-taking and the sunrises probably are as well, but I’ve never been awake to see one!  Even on a simple, sunny day, the sky is a bluer blue than I ever see when I’m at my home in Philadelphia.  During my visit, we had some crazy thunderstorms – but did I get some cool lightning shots and avoided getting struck, which is a bonus!  Hope you enjoy these shots as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Blue, blue skies, looking down the road.

Another super blue sky, but looking in the opposite direction.
